Department Description

The Prothonotary and Clerk of Courts Office is the record keeper for the Court of Common Pleas. The Clerk of Courts office is responsible for maintaining criminal and juvenile court records.

  • Tammy Hart

    Tammy Hart, newly elected Prothonotary/Clerk of Courts for 2024.

    Tammy began her career with Bradford County in April of 2000 as a File Clerk in the Prothonotary’s Office. Throughout her Bradford County career, she worked at Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton’s office, Bradford County Sheriff’s Office and as a Chief Deputy in Register & Recorders Office. She is an active member of the Bradford County Council of Republican Women and the Bradford County Republican Committee.

    Born and raised in Wyalusing, PA, Tammy currently resides in Monreoton with her husband David.

    Together they have 3 grown children.
