Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapies

The goal of our Therapy Department is to alleviate physical challenge and promote independence in those we serve. Our professional team of Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists provide custom-designed Rehab programs for residents recuperating from a variety of debilitating injuries and illnesses. Focus is upon assisting the individual to regain skills and abilities needed for optimum independence.

Our commitment to this goal has led to Therapy services available six days per week, rather than a traditional five days per week program.

*An Orthopedic Surgeon serves as Medical Director for this department.

We are proud to provide a full-time Rehab Department with a caring, creative and professional team of Therapists. Our expertise addresses the needs from the younger adult to senior citizens.

Our Physical Therapy Staff improves quality of life by promoting functional independence. Each therapy program addresses the resident’s unique circumstances to help regain balance, good body mechanics, strength and mobility.

Our Occupational Therapy Staff increases functional ability with daily activities such as dressing, bathing and eating accomplished through customized treatment plans.

Our Speech Language Pathologists work our residents to increase abilities with swallowing, communication and cognitive abilities.

Our Therapy Programs

Fall Prevention Program, therapists identify residents at risk for falls and use the safest intervention possible to prevent future falls.

Contracture Management is available to help prevent contractures and/or treat current contractures.

Screening Intervention Program determines if any functional changes have occurred and if the resident would benefit from rehab intervention.

Patient & Family Education and Home Assessments prior to discharge from therapy, to ensure that maximum independence is maintained.

OUT-PATIENT therapy services are now available! If you are in need of physical, occupational or speech therapy, you now have the opportunity to take advantage of our brand new state-of-the-art rehab center on an out-patient basis. Our award winning therapy team will work with you on an individual basis using all the latest techniques and equipment to ensure positive results.
