Department Services
This department is responsible to find the best-qualified people, recognizing and encouraging the value of diversity in the work place; providing a work atmosphere that is safe, healthy and secure. The department administers and communicates policies, rules and practices that treat employees with dignity and equality while maintaining compliance with employment and labor laws, County directives and labor agreements.

Director
Teresa Jones
Teresa Jones was raised in Sayre, PA and graduated from Sayre High School in the 70’s, after which she attended college in Boston, Massachusetts. She married Michael Jones in 1984. We then transferred to Hawaii for 5 years where she was the Assistant Director for the child care. For 2 years she was the Assistant Manager at a local pre-school and then took a position as the Human Resources Assistant for a small company that provided work for the handicapped. In 1999 she became the Human Resources Manager for a growing Government Contractor and returned to school to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources/Business Management and her certification as a Human Resources Professional. In January of 2007 they moved back to the Valley to be closer to her parents and found a beautiful home in Athens Township. She began her employment as the Human Resources Director for Bradford County in May of 2007.
