About the Department
The Assessment Office has a responsibility to maintain uniform and fair market values on approximately 35,754 properties in the County. This office administers the Clean and Green program and maintains the homestead, farmstead and occupation databases for the local school districts.
Public information is available on occupation & real estate assessments; aerial maps are also available. Deeds are certified in this office before they are recorded. Clean & Green forms, occupation and real estate appeal forms can be obtained from this office.
Donna is a lifelong resident of Bradford County; she graduated from Towanda High School in 1983, and in 2003 graduated from Keystone College with an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She first began working for Bradford County at the Manor, in the kitchen after school and on weekends when she was 15. She also worked as a housekeeping attendant and later became the Assistant Director of the Activities Department In 1990 she was hired as a temporary data collector in the Assessment Office working on a countywide reassessment. When that job was finished she worked as a temp at Sylvania, and before that job was over she was hired back in the Assessment office as a full-time Field Investigator (that was in Nov. of 1992). She obtained her C.P.E. license in August of 1995 and worked in the Assessment Office until July of 2001. She left the Assessment Office when she was appointed to the position of Election Director. In 2004 she was appointed to the position of Chief Assessor and began working back in the Assessment Office. She resides in Wysox with her husband Mark and their children.
